In this submodule, users can create new equipment, edit existing ones, and disable (hide it within the system).
To access this submodule, navigate to Estimates → Equipment Types.
1. Clicking the + button allows users to create a new equipment type. The Add Equipment modal window appears.
Tool Name - is a text field, where the users can add the name of the equipment.
Price Per Hour - here, the user defines the cost per hour that will be shown for the specific equipment. Later on, this value is applied in calculations, if the user decides to assess the price for the service in the Estimate via calculator.
Vehicle/Attachment/Tool defines the type of equipment that is created.
Tool Options - here the user can add parameters for a Vehicle/Attachment/Tool if necessary. Say, it can be a wheel’s diameter of the vehicle, brand of a specific vehicle, etc. Also, it is a good thing to mention, that the creation of new equipment additionally explains the creation of the service.
Clicking the Save button saves all adjustments and creates new equipment.
2. Clicking the pencil button allows the user to edit all the information that was entered during the equipment creation process.
3. Clicking the crossed-out circle red button, allows the user to disable (hiding within the system) the equipment. Once done, it will appear under the blue line, where all disabled (hidden) equipment is shown.
4. Clicking the checkmark blue button allows the user to enable (show within the system) the equipment.
Important: By design, when the user disables specific equipment in this submodule, it will be just hidden within the system. However, if this specific equipment was priorly attached to a service, it will not be removed from it.
