Managing SMS Templates
SMS is a great way to notify clients. SMS serves as a great way to notify clients of various processes - sending an estimate for approval, rescheduling a meeting, etc.
SMS templates allow you to make the SMS-sending process easier and faster.
To access this submodule, navigate to Clients → SMS Templates.
1. Clicking Add shows a Create Template modal window, where you can create a new SMS template.
- To add a name to the SMS template, you should fill out Template Name text input field;
- To add text to the message body, you should fill out Template Text input field;
- To extend the text input field, you should click and drag the corner;
- Available variables are shown as plain text, to use them within the SMS message, you can highlight and then copy desired variables and insert them into the Template Text input field.
2. Clicking the pencil button, allows you to edit existing SMS templates;
3. Clicking the bin button removes an existing SMS Template;
4. System default SMS Templates cannot be removed.
